8 Weeks Left!

It is the last week of July and we are counting down until baby number 2 comes. The c-section is planned for September 20th at 7:30 a.m. We are excited and Mommy is ready. The summer heat is killing her and the house stays like an ice box. Still no name yet, so if you have any ideas let us know.

Summer Vacation

This year the McFarland's, Meadow's, Houseworth's and Wilder's all went to Edisto Beach in South Carolina. It was an intersting week. Of course, Nathaniel got sick the first day and ran a high fever for about a day. He was sick for about 3 days and then when he got better the air in our rental house went out. It was so hot we thought we would have to pack up and go home. By Thursday, everything was fixed and we had two days left to relax. It was a crazy week and we have decided that vacations are not really vacations when you have children. It is just relocating your life to a different location for a week. kids still get sick and the terrible two's still follow you where ever you go.

Best Friends!

Nathaniel has a best friend from Church named Brody. They love playing together and look forward to seeing each other every Sunday and Wednesday.

Playtime

Nathaniel loves to play with his
toys especially Hot Wheels cars. His favorite thing to do is line up the cars in a straight line or stack them in his blocks.

Getting ready for Baby Sister

Nathaniel helped Mommy and Daddy get the baby's room ready. We painted it pink and green stripes with a chair railing around the room. Nathaniel knows that something is fixing to happen but we are still not sure if he is ready for a little sister.

World Changers 2007

House and I were involved in another year of World Changers. House was the speaker and I was the project coordinator for the week. We also took 45 of our own teenagers to be involved and there were about 150 people total there for the week. The week was crazy but God did some amazing things. We slept in a middle school in the tampa area and worked all around doing construction projects and community work. In the first picture House is getting ready to do the "great send off" on the first work day of the week. It is a time where all the students gather in a circle and get pumped about heading off to a week of work for God.

They grow up so fast....

Nathaniel turned 2 on June 2nd and looking at him I now realize how fast they grow up. He no longer has that baby look but is turning into a little boy.

Swing Set

For Nathaniel's 2nd birthday, Paw Paw McFarland built Nathaniel a

swing set. It started out as a normal swing set but ended up a little bigger. Nathaniel loves his swing set/fort and will have years of fun playing in it.
